April 15, 2011
In case you don’t know this; nail polishes are hard to get in Malaysia. They are either cheap & low quality OR super expensive. Brands such as China Glaze, Nubar & Deborah Lippmann are pretty much non-existant here.
Thank God for nice people like this person, she’s giving out a surprise Deborah Lippmann nail polish! I mean, is that crazy or what? Just so you know, Deborah Lippmann nail polishes are TO DIE FOR. They are crazy beautiful!
So if you want to enter, click here and submit your entry!
If you had to list down your priorities – first to last; first being the most important, what would it be?
Family? Education? Money?
Being a girl, the community expects too much out of our gender. Whether we’re educated, or if we know how to cook. The different perspectives people give towards women, either about their job, their style, how much they earn, how they live, their lifestyle & etc.
I love brands. I do. But I am who I am, and I’m thankful for that. I’d rather choose quality than an overpriced item. Living in such a modernized century, tempted by technology, who wouldn’t cringe at the sight of the latest gadget? Being a bitch that I am, of course I’d ask for something from my parents.
I believe in karma, probably as much as you believe that ghosts exist. Which stands in between reality and.. somewhat out of the world kind of thing. I’ve done bad things in the past and I’m pretty sure I’ll get my punishment someday.
2011 is here and I know how everyone is hoping & praying it’ll kick -ass. Believe me when I say there’s so much of the future that’s so uncertain that it will make you reconsider on what is real and what isn’t.
After SPM ended, I bet everyone thought it’d be ‘freedom’ as school days are over. Here’s a reality check for you kids out there. Your dreams? It’ll be crushed. If you’re one of the unlucky ones, you’ll probably end up with something you don’t love whole heartedly yet you don’t hate. Imagine how much of your future you’ve put on somebody else’s hand. If you’re ever in doubt, don’t keep it to yourself.
I have no clue where this post is going but heck. In a week, I’ll be kicking off my Semester 3 with the lowest amount of excitement ever. It’s not as if I haven’t been a loner in college but this is kind of saddening. I miss school because everyone was friendly. Noone was afraid to say hi to the other person, or even smile at them. Comparing my lives to everyone else, I wonder if I’ve made the right choice.
Merepek already this post. So one-toned type. I’ll stop typing now. Need to watch my Jonas boys (NICKNICKNICKNICK).
By the way, Secondhand Serenade is coming to town on the 11th of January! Thanks to Hitz, I’ll be going & will be meeting the man himself! You know I love you Hitz :B
Life on Line podcast review!
December 28, 2010
Need a review on a specific social media? Or probably a third opinion on the product? Then listen in to the #LOLShow! Sorry to disappoint but the LOL doesn’t stand for Laugh Out Loud, instead it’s Life on Line! This audio podcast focuses on the biggest hits and miss of social medias online.
Hosted by John Lim, Niki Cheong (from The Star’s R.AGE), David Wang (from The ClickStarter and founder of BuzzMedia), and David Lian (Text100′s Asia-Pacific Social Media Practice Lead), you can expect discussions on politics (on the not so serious side obviously), gadgets and media sites.
For their latest and last episode of the year, they talked about Facebook, the new Twitter, Google Wave & Buzz and how politics are being sucked into the social medias these days. Take a listen right here or just click play below!

Have you never been taught to not judge a person?
I may be indecisive, I may be a little different but I AM still a person. You may be older than me, probably wiser too but I think I can decide on my own of what I shall and shall not do for my future. Growing up, I learn what I give is what I get. I don’t think I’ve ever hid something on purpose to make someone else fail. I try to help as much as I can, when I can and I want. But to have somebody to hesitate and ignore when I am in need, what’s that all about?
You may think you’ve figured me out, trust me you’re wrong. How much of me do you actually know? I can bet it’s no more than 10% of who I really am and I don’t think I’d mind but seriously, don’t ever think you know me so well to want to lecture me of what I should be doing.
I’m different. Definitely.. different. I’m not exactly the smartest girl in class, but do not ever underestimate me. To look down on me? I will never forget. There was a time when I was just this typical girl, who probably had everything she needed. Not wanted. But I was happy. I was so afraid of my own happiness.. because I knew noone could have everything they needed and be happy. I’ve been through a lot and it’s none of your business. No, I am not as stupid as you think. I am not hardworking, but I tend to want to prove myself to other people.
I won’t repeat your mistakes, because any mistakes I make it would be MY mistakes that I made myself. So thanks for your advice but I think I can handle this. Even if I can’t, what’s the worst that can happen?
I am already in a nightmare I never thought I’d want to live in, but I am.
So yes, I enjoy all the little things I can enjoy. I keep them with me to forget all the things I don’t want to remember. Enough? Enough.
I may be a few days late.. but Happy Halloween & Happy birthday to Frank Iero! Heh heh heh if you know who that is
On the day itself, me and my college mates decided to celebrate Halloween together for the first time. The event was organized by my college, so we thought why not? It looked fun. Well.. yeah. Looked. So wrong.
The whole thing ended up being a waste of time & cash. The whole thing basically focused on cars that were ‘modified’. Seriously. Not impressed. What’s up with all the shananiganz and the vroom vrooms. Basically, in my opinion, guys who would spend that much on modifying their car up to that level has no life. Why ruin a nice car by painting them with ridiculous colors and making the engines sound ten times louder than it’s supposed to sound? Not only does your car go slower than an ordinary car.. but to kononnya ‘speed’ with the ridiculous sound that actually doesn’t help a single bit in making your car go faster.
Enough with that, we ended up camwhoring instead. Just ‘cos it seemed so much more fun than being at the party itself (:
On the left would be lovely Beatrice who’s dressed as a Western vampire, while next to her is BobBob who’s dressed as a Chinese ghost/vampire! Behind them is the entrance to the party, which I think they’ve placed on the wrong side since everyone’s entering from the other entrance.. which is unguarded.
That me — yes I’ve put on weight. Deal with it. I went as a Spartan woman (sort of ler.) & next to me is Claire who’s a Greek Goddess! Loved her dress (Y)
Since the price of the ticket didn’t include food (which we thought they’d supply since it was written on the flyer), the food we had to pay for was.. let’s say not that interesting. So we decided to have dinner somewhere else less crowded & people wouldn’t actually stare at us -_-
Apple people. TSK! Heh heh heh. Sama je actions.
Ended up heading to Beatrice & BobBob’s crib early since the party was booo-oooring. Camwhored some more, then that’s it for my Halloween night!
All in all, we did have fun getting ready & camwhoring! Hope you guys had a much better Halloween night!
As I’ve mentioned before, I LOVE nail art. Though I may not be the best at drawing them myself, I opt for something much easier — Konad stamps!
My 2010 started off pretty rough and I didn’t have much to do, until my sister gave me links to this & this. I got hooked. I search online, highs and lows on whether these stuffs could be found in Malaysia.
From having less than 5 bottles of nail polish, I now own probably around 50 or more. Since I’m still a student (sad case -_-) and I don’t work thus no self-income, I only go for nail polishes below RM10. *Sad face sad face sad face*
This is a pretty old picture but it was one of my favorites! I haven’t been taking any pictures of my nails lately so I apologize :B
I paint my nails all the time and trust me when I say I get really tensed up on deciding what color to choose :S But I always love the end result! My college mates constantly ask me how I do the patterns and eventhough I try explaining to them a thousand times I doubt they understood
So here’s a picture of the Konad stamp!
One thing that I get really jealous about when I stalk sites of nail arts would be the nail polishes they use. I would kill to have some ChanelsMACs or even OPIs in my collection of nail polishes. Since they are so out of my reach, there’s this site that’s giving out MAC nail polishes that are really to die for. Like seriously.
LOOK!

THE COLORS. THE BEAUTIFUL COLORS. Come on, where on earth do you think I can actually buy something like that that doesn’t cost over RM10? By on earth I actually mean Malaysia. Yes, only Malaysia hihi.
This looovelyy lady on Nail Galore (who has an amazing collection of nail polishes & Konad + Fauxnad plates that I would really love) will be giving away these amazing MAC nail polishes on her blog. But I don’t want any of you to enter because then my chance in winning will decrease ):
Wish me luck!
We’re over high school, aren’t we?
Enough with the bragging. Nobody cares.
Enough with the drama. Nobody wants to know.
It’s all over, whether you want it to or not.
Grow up, because I know I have.
